Abstract

This research exhaustively addresses the affinity of educational inclusion and Information and Communication Technologies in the Ecuadorian educational context. The main objective of this study was to analyze the current trends and future perspectives of Inclusive Education, focusing specifically on the implementation and impact of technologies in educational practice. The methodology used combined quantitative and qualitative approaches, including teacher and student surveys, in-depth interviews and data analysis, to obtain a comprehensive understanding. The results revealed a widespread adoption of technologies in educational institutions, highlighting its positive impact on student participation and the diversification of evaluation strategies. However, they also noted significant challenges in terms of connectivity and the need for ongoing teacher training. The lack of inter-institutional coordination was also identified as an area for improvement. These findings underscore the importance of addressing systemic challenges to ensure equitable and effective access to Inclusive Education. The study highlights the relevance of strategically integrating inclusive education with technologies, analyzing trends and perspectives in Ecuador. The conclusions show the need for specific actions, such as improving connectivity, strengthening teacher training and promoting inter-institutional collaboration, to ensure continued progress towards a more inclusive and accessible educational system for all students.
